Dutch Henry

Dutch Henry lives with his wife of 40-plus years on their small farm in Appomattox, Virginia. He has had columns for several equine magazines, published hundreds of articles and has authored several books He loves trail riding in the deep woods near his home, exploring and enjoying God's beauty from horseback. A lifelong bird watcher, Dutch volunteered 20 years for the Parks Department, leading bird walks, and installing and teaching to maintain bluebird trails. He has worked with horses, helped at-risk youth discover their inner beauty and strength, and teaches equine posture exercises to horse owners. 


Dutch loves horses, dogs, cats, wild birds and wildflowers, and the joy and wonderment they give to so many.
